Silver lining

Every cloud has a silver lining, but it's not too often that you can actually see it. This is a view of a passing downpour over Kootenay Lake, shot from the cabin where I stayed for a few days.

From my friend's cabin along Kootenay Lake, the early-morning views are absolutely spectacular - especially on a day like this when there isn't a ripple in the water and the sun has just crested the mountain behind me.
