Too Late

I was playing around with my homemade light box the other day and this is what I ended up getting.

Hooked on effects

I started playing with slow exposure effects a while ago and I think I'm hooked. This was done with a very slow expsure, a remote flash and a laser pointer. I also used a wireless remote to set off the camera, so I really could have used one more arm for this pic.

In light of the Conservatives....

Today Steven Harper's government announced a plan to ban the sale of incandescent light bulbs by 2012, I thought it would be a good day to post this pic I took one evening when I was bored.

Double your pleasure

Other than being resized, this shot is straight out of my camera - and I didn't use a multiple exposure setting either. I was experimenting with long exposures in my office a few minutes ago and this is what I got. I think it's cool.

Playing with lighting

I just started playing with a light box for product shots. I built the light box with instructions from the Strobist Blog and shot this with absolutely no prepping whatsoever. I didn't even clean the lens before I shot the pic!
