Sky path?
I've always been fascinated by jet trails, but it looks as though there is actually a path for the jet to follow in this shot - something I've never seen before. Other than a minor tweak to levels and resizing, I did nothing to this with PhotoShop. The "pathway" was quite visible to the naked eye. Has anyone ever seen this before? If so, do you know what causes it?

Clear for landing
This is a shot from a few years ago when I was still in China. I went to this flower show and culinary exhibition in Guangzhou. Even though I had been there for a couple of years when I took this pic, it was the first time I'd ever really spent any time looking closely at the plants out there. That's when I noticed how different the flies and bees looked out there.

Double your pleasure
Other than being resized, this shot is straight out of my camera - and I didn't use a multiple exposure setting either. I was experimenting with long exposures in my office a few minutes ago and this is what I got. I think it's cool.

Playing with lighting
I just started playing with a light box for product shots. I built the light box with instructions from the Strobist Blog and shot this with absolutely no prepping whatsoever. I didn't even clean the lens before I shot the pic!

Big
You had to be a fool not to notice the wonderful cloud formations we had here on April Fool's day. I caught this shot in Mill Bay, BC, looking east toward the BC Gulf Islands and Washington's San Juan Islands. There's a bit of barrel distortion from the ultra-wide angle lens, but I sitll like the shot.
